Synopsis[]

SuperTed's holiday on the friendly Planet Spot is interrupted when Texas Pete's rocket crash-lands on the planet. Tex is after the cosmic dust that brought SuperTed to life.

Plot[]

A dark menacing rocket ship makes it's way through space towards a planet surrounded by many moons - the friendly Planet Spot. Spotty shows his special cosmic dust to his sister Blotch. Mrs Spot proudly states her son has been collecting cosmic dust for several years. Blotch asks if Spotty can bring her teddy bear to life, like he did with SuperTed, but the latter stages they plan to use it to fight evil. Mrs Spot states there is no evil on the Planet Spot.

The rocket ship continues it's way through space. It of course belongs to Texas Pete. He is fascinated at the sight of the Planet Spot, however, it causes Bulk's eyes to go spotty, but Skeleton assures him it's just the planet. Tex tells his cronies they are going to steal the cosmic dust that brought SuperTed to life, and they can even do something extremely wicked, like resurrecting Billy The Kid himself.

Tex instructs Bulk to pull the brake lever. He does, but pulls it away from the controls, damaging it and enraging Tex and frightening Skeleton. They all scream in terror as the rocket spirals out of control towards the Planet Spot.

On the planet itself, SuperTed is playing with Blotch and Spotty. Blotch asks if they ever have holidays on Earth. Spotty informs her they do, but SuperTed is always busy defending the Earth from evil. Suddenly, they notice the out of control rocket and head off to investigate.

Spotty can smell something burning. It's SuperTed's fur coat. The two are shocked at the sight of the crashed rocket ship. SuperTed says his secret magic word and heads off to see if there are any survivors.

Tex, who has escaped from the wreckage, notices a bone belonging to Skeleton. He cackles at the thought of him being scattered across the galaxy. SuperTed notices a slipper amongst the wreckage and Spotty immediately recognises it as that of Skeleton's. SuperTed instructs him to keep looking along the ravine and flies off to see if Blotch is OK.

Blotch is giggling at the sight of Bulk and is curious to know if he is from Earth. Bulk informs her he has come for the cosmic dust and Blotch cheerfully takes him to find some. Tex notices them in the distance and decides to tag along.

Bulk is searching for the cosmic dust in Blotch's room. She hands him it politely. Bulk snatches it off her, but is confused that she isn't afraid of him. Meanwhile, SuperTed is flying back to the Spotty Home to check on Blotch. Tex, hiding by the entrance, laughs nastily and states that he will soon be as powerful as his greatest enemy.

Suddenly, just before Tex can take the bottle of Cosmic Dust, SuperTed appears in front of him. Tex grabs Blotch and warns the teddy bear that his new friend will suffer if he gets any nearer. He orders Bulk not to drop the bottle. He chuckles and states that they're going to revive the horrible outlaws on Earth. As they move away from the Spotty Home and up a cliff, SuperTed warns Tex he won't let him harm Blotch, but the cowboy reminds his enemy not to waste his breath as he and Bulk have Blotch hostage and they continue moving on up the cliff.

Spotty has found a ribcage amongst the wreckage. Tex orders Bulk to stick behind him and to hold onto the bottle. Blotch wails for Tex to let her go. SuperTed challenges him to fight him, but Tex scoffs and tells Bulk to keep moving. But Bulk loses his balance on the edge and grabs Tex's boots, resulting in him falling off the cliff and grabbing the edge.

With Tex no longer holding her, Blotch falls off the cliff, screaming. SuperTed, horrified, flies off to save her. She calls his name in despair, relived that he has come to rescue her. He successfully catches Blotch and flies her to safety. Tex, however, is still hanging from the cliff edge and angrily shouts at Bulk to let go of him. Bulk, however, loses his grip on the bottle of Cosmic Dust. It falls to the ground, shattering and restoring Skeleton to his former glory.

Later, Blotch reveals she has changed her mind about the Earth, stating that she finds it an exciting place after all. Skeleton is relieved to be whole again, but upon seeing Spotty, breaks down in fear and screams for Tex, who is still hanging, along with Bulk, on the cliff edge. The camera zooms in on them, ending the episode.
